Meeting Schedule

-We generally hold meetings the first Saturday of the month at 10am.
-Meetings are held in the PCWD conference room, walk down the West side of the Pine Cove Water District office – 24917 Marion Ridge Dr.
-Pine Cove Property Owners, renters and interested parties are welcome to attend all meetings.
-At quarterly meetings we tend to have local agency speakers. We encourage all to attend the quarterlies, see local speakers and get your questions answered.

-December 7 Sunday, 2-4pm. Holiday Party, contingent on venue.

-November 8, 10am. Board business meeting.

-October 4, 10am. Board seats available and other business.

-September 6, 10am. General meeting, come one, come all. Our speaker cannot make it. But we have board nominations and an update from the county on how our CSA38 funds are being spent. You can also attend by Zoom: https://us06web.zoom.us/j/86255298404.

-August 9, Community Picnic! 3-6pm, Dutch Flats. PCPOA will be BBQing. Dogs, burgers and beverages. No alcohol please. Potluck sides or bring whatever optional. Meet your neighbors. Highway 243, turn onto Franklin Dr, first right into PC Water District, gravel road.

-July 5, 10am. Board business meeting. Speaker Mike Feyder of Mountain Disaster Preparedness, MDP. Radio network, DAS units, etc.

-June 7, 10am. It was a full house for our June general meeting. Guest speaker Stephanie Yost, head of many of our biggest non-profits, got us up to date. PCPOA announced our donations to the community as well.

-May 3, 10am. Board business meeting.

-April 5. Meeting cancelled, nothing pressing.

-March 1, 10am. General meeting. Guest speaker will be Richard Yocum from RMRU, He will be talking about Mountain Rescue. Then Fire Safe Council’s Woody H. will be talking about how to abate your property. Zoom access, meeting archived.

-December 7th, 1-4pm, Holiday Party at Townhall! Cheese n meat table, wine, hot punch, water and soft drinks. Meet your community. Display your holiday sweater! Fun gifts for the first 25 attendees. Or take a tiny table Poinsettia home.
-December 7th, 10am. General meeting and Holiday Party prep.

November 9th, 10am. Board meeting business. Holiday party planning.

-October 5th, 10am. Board meeting business.

-September 7th, 10am. General public meeting.
-September 7th also. Community Potluck Picnic! 3-6pm at the PC Water Dutch Flats facility. 243 to Franklin, first right, look for the PCWD sign. Bring a food item, we are hosting the John King band, chicken and a good time. Meet your community and PCPOA board members.

Speaker was Stephanie Yost speaking on many of our local groups including ICC and Idyllwild Fire (as a commissioner).

-December 2nd, 10am. Quarterly General Meeting.
Bob Greenamyer, “Idyllwild…Footprints through time: The Footprint of ‘The Fort’…Community, Recreation and Conflagration”.The meeting was in person and on Zoom.

-November 4th, 10am. We had a good board meeting, see minutes.

-October 7th, 9am. Our guest speaker was Cal Fire Battalion Chief McDermott. The fire chief answered questions including how our LE100 fuels abatement inspections were going. New board members were approved.

-September 9th, 9am. Our guest speaker is Christina from Idyllwild Dream Productions. And we will discuss and vote on community organizations we will support.

-August 5. Meeting has been cancelled.

-July 8, 9am. Guest speaker, Jon King, San Jacinto Trails Report.
The meeting was bumped one week to not conflict with July 4th weekend.

-June 3, 9am. Board meeting around the back of the PCWD office. Mike Feyder from Mountain Disaster Preparedness and Janice Murasko from the Help Center are speaking.

-May 6. Board meeting. Stephanie Yost spoke with us. Stephanie volunteers to help run a lot of local non-profits including ICC. We heard about her programs and expect to help ICC in the next round of donations. Meeting agenda.

-April 16. The April 2023 PCPOA meeting has been postponed to Saturday, April 16 at 9:00 AM.  The meeting currently is in-person only, but should a Zoom option become available, we will update.

-A long time member of PCPOA, Sally Warwick recently passed away. Her family will be having a celebration of life for her later.  Her family is extending an invitation to any PCPOA members who would like to attend her celebration.

-Pine Cove is a small mountain community along Hwy 243, located north and above Idyllwild, CA. We are part of Idyllwild 92549.

-Pine Cove Property Owner’s Association, mission statement:
Assisting in the formulation and coordination of a sound policy for the present and future development of the Pine Cove area. The Association generally will keep its members advised of all present and contemplated legislation affecting the Pine Cove area and will represent, by its designated representatives, the Association’s general interest to property owners in the Pine Cove area. We provide facilities for open discussions and decisions by members with respect to present and future plans and policies affecting the Pine Cove area.
